Bro… i wish this youtube vid was out earlyer. I have recently crashed my aeroo pro. The worst part is i was not even fishing. I was useing it to send my mate a beer who lives 4 blocks over from me. It got behind some trees( no clear line of sight) it lost conection hovered then fell out of the sky. If i had of cheaked the settings like what you suggest in your tutorial then the outcome would have been alot different.
Now my drone is smashed to peices. Also, i did not spent the extra $240 for the care coverage.
Now i have to save from scratch to buy a new drone.
I feel your pain bro.

I always put my phone on flight mode. I've found if I receive a message it disconnects from the controller. Its quite nerve-racking
Mine went for a swim in the ocean also, yep battery toast also, replace all your screws as the will rust and be impossible to remove in the future, Aeroopro do not offer true stainless steel screws as I asked nor do they offer easy access to spare a spare screw set, I ended up measureing and ordering stainless steel screws off uncle ali for peace of mind as some of the screws are super small

My tip to share would be to keep the drag loose first in case the bail arm accidentally closes mid flight out and yanks hard on the line causing a potential loss
Glad it's working! I've had my mavic pro go in the ocean twice(same one) soaked it in distilled water and flushed the crap out of it then did the rice bro. 3rd time was unlucky as one of the arms on the drone was becoming weak. I SHOULDA STOPPED BUT WANTED TO GET THAT FIRST DROP OUT LOL. Have 2 other mavic pros as backup but 2 years with the 1 drone has done me good.
