  1. So, the removal of the USB charging port forces you to buy the case and payout 100$ more for the mic. The mic is 100$ + 100$ for the case.

We had the option of not buying the case for people who only used BT connections in but now we don't.

Not sure that this is a win.

  2. Definitely not made for run and gun shooting with the mic’s magnetic system. Lens Pro to Go was the first to attempt this method, but I found it to be more of a hassle than helpful.

  3. The DJI Mic 2 is still the best for me. With the sony MI-shoe adapter from DJI it's great. If u need more than 2 channels, use an FX3 handle with the newer Sony cameras or go with pro-audio and timecode.

  4. I feel like an adapter for the mic that has a 3.5mm jack is going to appear. I like the 4 mic setup, but wish it was available in the DJI. Camera range (which is what I’d be filming with). I wonder if you can record 4 with the iPhone 🤔

  5. Sadly the missing Lav input is a 100% deal braker for me and all I know using those, I know people getting Dji mic 2 instead of 3 because of only this and there is a good reason for it if you care about the audio and also don´t want that box hanging on peoples chest, not even if you can hide it it causes clothing bulging out.

Ill stay using my Mic 2 instead and if I need more of them or need to replace mines ill get Mic 2.

Being able to use up to four mikes and the timecode future and more thought brilliant addition it´s not good enough reason to get Mic 3 if you can not use Lavs.

  6. mic2 still more versatile IMO. 3.5 jack for lav AND 32 bit float internal recording accessible via USB-C. I can carry just one mic all day without the case. The mic3 32 bit recording is only accessible when in the case (as I understand). Also, I think the need for timecode is a bit overstated. It helps UNLESS you happen to select the wrong framerate. Too much room for error.

  7. This adapter does not look well designed, bulky and not feel solid at all. A shame we can't just use the digital hotshoe connexion and have to use this ridiculous usb c adapter.
