US President Joe Biden has vowed to respond to the drone strike in Jordan which killed three American soldiers and injured dozens.
The attack was carried out by Iranian-backed militants.
Some say the US needs to hit back hard while the White House is weighing up its options.
Others are suggesting focusing on depriving Iran of financial resources.
“We shall respond,” the President said.
