For commercial pilots, with tons of new rules coming about needing parachutes in drones (cat 2+ drones as per Pilot Institute) to remote ID still in flux but coming, isn't it a good idea to get an Air 2s now vs buying anything over the next year knowing the rules will change so much for drones? From a business standpoint Im look at what equipment can I maximize and use for up to 2 years. Thoughts on this and how long before the rules mentioned might be sorted out (2 years)? – Thx
My 1st UAS was the Air 2 (because of the price after the Air 2S came out) and I have the Mini 3 Pro. Not upset that I did not get the 2S, but I wish there were a way to adapt to the new DJI RC. But the original DJISmart Controller (not the Pro) is coming down in price and refurbished is under $600 on the DJI Site. I use a Samsug A7 Tab Lite Cellular tablet now, so I'm good for a while!
