Better late than never!
First off i’d like to thank Guclu Cetinkol, Ümit Degirmencioglu and Christopher Rohe for putting on such a great event. My first time in Turkey was incredible and definitely one to remember. Even though my performance was far from beeing were i would have liked it to be, i was super happy to meet a lot of new pilots here and get to fly against the best in the world.
Qualifications started off well but i quickly went into a loophole where i couldn’t finish enough runs to place myself decent and i finished pretty low on the leaderboard. For brackets day i tried to mentally reset and forget about qualis. The DVR below is from my loosers bracket, i unfortunately got midaired at the hexagons then tried to push and caught up close to 2nd place but couldn’t quite make it, watch till the end as that’s the EPIC part!
Definitely learned a lot from this event that i’ll take with for the future. I have already made some pretty big changes to my flying and my setup which will hopefully make me improve further as a pilot.
