Will it FLY or Will it DIE? // GoPro mounted to DJI MINI SE

#DJIminiSE #GoPro
Hey guys here is just a quick clip to see whether mounting the #goprohero9 on to the #dji #minise would be a viable option – I conclude that it works and it flies but it is not a great option and a no go!

Hey! My name is Corey and I am coming at you out of Wellington, New Zealand. I am a photo enthusiast and I do some pro work like events and weddings. I used to paint and sketch but I thought it would be easier to simply snap pictures than to paint them. How wrong was I? This photography lark is a tricky business getting it right, but is an awesome buzz all the same!

Thanks a million for watching and please like the video if it was interesting to you. Also go ahead and subscribe if you are into photography, I’ll look forward to sharing more clips soon.

  1. A couple more observations. It would save the motors a lot of work if the gopro was closer to the drone body. Not sure if that would put the drone in the frame. Put the drone on a round pencil to find the point at which it balances from front to back. That's where you need to place the gopro so it has the least effect on the balance of the drone. And I would probably mount it underneath the drone and perhaps improvise some landing gear with plastic cutlery.

  2. Great vid! I'm quite keen to try this. I wonder what the benefits would be of using the gopro? I noticed that my gopro 8 is around 40g lighter than the later models, so that should help. I wonder why not mount it underneath though?
