Ukrainian drones struck power station in Russia’s Tver region – Strong blast occurs

A drone attack was launched on Russia’s Tver region on September 1, local media reported. During the attack, Ukrainian kamikaze drones struck the Konakovsk power plant in the region. As a result, an explosion and fire occurred in the area. The gas distribution station located a few kilometers away from the power station, was also struck. This was followed by fire. Local authorities reported that the air defense system shot down five drones in the area. No casualties have been reported yet. The attack on Tversk is part of the large-scale Ukrainian drone attack launched by over 100 Ukrainian drones on the night leading to September 1. Over a dozen Russian regions were targeted during the attack.
