I have it and I absolutely love it, replaced my viper ultimate. Super light and responsive. If you use a claw grip like I do you shouldn't have any comfort issues. And the battery swap is a neat solution to battery weight and charging. Also the metal body of the mouse is super solid.
If they chip off that's much component for it to be lighter, then the price is ridiculously high through, what am I gonna pay for, the brief and the research?
I just saw a video of someone using an air compressor to spin up the scroll wheel on a g502 and the mouse wheel got red hot. That alone made me stay away from said mouse. Not to say its a bad mouse or anything, but with features like a metal scroll wheel, whatever bearings they use to get it to spin freely, and whatever additional mounting for said feature. If my memory serves me correctly, that mouse is like 130 grams
