On the night of May 7-8, Pakistan launched a coordinated drone and missile attack targeting military bases across 15 Indian cities. But India’s powerful S-400 ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ air defence system intercepted the threats in time. Developed by Russia, the S-400 can track threats from 600 km away and neutralize drones, missiles, and aircraft. India signed the deal for the system during President Putin’s 2018 visit. Today, it stands as one of the strongest defence technologies in the world.
