Newly released video appears to show a Ukrainian naval drone targeting a Russian warship.
The Russian Defence Ministry said a drone attack had been foiled at naval base in the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.
Another video later showed a damaged warship being towed away.
Petro Poroshenko served as the fifth president of Ukraine from 2014 to 2019.
