Russian troops destroyed a US-made anti-drone system in Ukraine’s Mykolaiv region, according to a video released by the Russian Defence Ministry on November 28. The strike, carried out by a Russian drone near Ochakov, hit a Ukrainian Humvee equipped with the APKWS II system, a guided rocket system designed to counter drones. The system, developed by L3Harris, was reportedly a VAMPIRE (Vehicle-Agnostic Modular Palletised ISR Rocket Equipment) version, which included a launcher and sensor for precision targeting.
