The Russian defence ministry released a video on Thursday (August 15) which it said shows the destruction of HIMARS launcher in the Sumy region of Ukraine moments after it was used in attack on Russia’s Kursk region.
The video shows a HIMARS launcher firing two missiles towards the Kursk region in Russia from Ukraine’s Sumy region. The launcher then drives away at speed and finds cover in a wooded area. The Russian observation drone follows the HIMARS launcher, and soon after, there is a massive explosion and a ball of flames as the HIMARS unit is hit.
