A new autonomous high-explosive interceptor drone system is being developed to hunt down and destroy other uncrewed aerial vehicles.
Known as the Roadrunner-M, the vertical take-off and landing (VTOL), operator-supervised autonomous air vehicle (AAV) is an advanced high-explosive interceptor that can destroy kamikaze drones and large aircraft.
The Roadrunner is an AI-guided craft designed to tackle the “mission sets of tomorrow”, according to its developer, Anduril.
