Resize An Image For Social Media | Make A Horizontal Photo Vertical For Instagram, Pinterest #shorts

It’s common knowledge that vertical photos perform better on many social media platforms like Instagram, Pinterest & TikTok. But how can you take a horizontal image and make it vertical?

Try this incredible Photoshop hack where you can change just that: a photo’s orientation. This method is great because you wont need to warp or even crop your image very much!

After expanding your canvas, make a selection of the background that doesnt include any important details like your subject. Then simply make a copy of that section and click to expand it outward. You can also try the content aware fill option, but I think this method works better in most scenarios! #shorts
