Just hours after Donald Trump warned Vladimir Putin against “playing with fire,” Russia reported a massive Ukrainian drone attack targeting Moscow and multiple regions. The Russian Defence Ministry said it intercepted 112 drones in a coordinated strike that hit six regions, including Bryansk, which saw the heaviest barrage. Twelve drones aimed at Moscow led to temporary flight suspensions at Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports. Authorities claim the attack was foiled within three hours. While such intense strikes on the capital are rare, the frequency of drone activity near Moscow has increased as the conflict with Ukraine intensifies.
