Putin feels ‘effect’ of hundreds of Ukrainian drone strikes into Russia

“The Ukrainians have a lot of methods of striking deep in Russia.”

There are already “fascinating signs” of effects of “psychological shock” following Ukrainian attacks in Russia, explains diplomatic and defence expert Mark Urban, as the UK and US deliberate authorising Ukraine to use Western long-range missiles.

  1. Russia has already attacked Britain on multiple occasions prior to the full scale attempt to invade Ukraine – including the radioactive Novichok.

Britain has a vital national security interest in preventing Russia from gaining strength and power by recapturing the European colonies lost in 1991.

If Britain has to go forward and be the first to approve long term strikes on legitimate military targets within the “original” Russia and not only the Russia defined by Putin that is already being bombed with British missiles, then its still increasing British security on the long term. But it would be much preferred if Britain could convince the Americans, French and Germans to follow the lead of Great Britain.

  2. Votes will be lost to the Biden admin if American military are drawn into direct conflict,, Trump must not become pres again,,.Ukraine will certainly lose ,, its looking positive so why risk it,, European alliance need to take point until Trump out of picture and into prison..OR give them ( Ukraine ) opportunity to ignore restrictions and create bs narrative by condeming *ahem …"restrictions".. As China has done indirectly supplying compnants to putin

  3. A lot of lessons being learnt here, one is the US cannot be relied on as the armourer of the west. It simply doesnt have the capacity nor inclination to go toe to toe with aggressor states like ruzz.

All the democracies have to arm up, initially with conventional weapons, if Trump gets in the umbrella will go and it will have to be nukes.

  4. At some point another aspect will be noticeable – the enormous cost of these strikes. It is into the tens of billions at this point. Ii read that one ammo depot hit destroyed over $1B in weapons alone. They may try to ignore it, not rebuild or repair the sites just as they no longer maintain or fix infrastructure. I still say Ukraine will only "win" if Russia collapses due to political or far more likely economic catastrophe.

  5. Ukraine can shoot anything in a 500 mile circle of the available targets. peace negotiations with the Russian bear. peace agreements with the gang of thugs runs Russia under Putin. another tofu dreg totally corrupted failure as a country. communism and fascism work for the autocrats not the democrats. communism works for the USA trump crime party allegedly another gang of unruly thugs.

  6. Sadly, in truth Russia is winning and draining U.S finances as they are much more efficient with ammo manufacturing etc. They can put the U.S in great danger if they continue to win through attrition and expose more financial vulnerabilities. Furthermore, they've taken a significant amount of land that Putin will never give back.

  7. poutine is almost comically incompetent on the battlefield, yet disturbingly effective with the far-right propaganda he injects into the U.S. It's sad and should be unnecessary, but there won't be any blanket permission from the White House for Ukraine to use Western made long-range weaponry against their invaders until at least after President Harris wins the election in November.

If America wasn't currently a dumpster fire and the election so absurdly close considering who one of the candidates is, the permission would have been given long ago. As it should have.

  8. Many Ukrainians homes were destroyed and innocent lives were lost. Now, Russians also experience the same fate from the game Putin has started.
This leaders who first initiate war are so lucky to just give orders to soldiers but they themselves don't fight personally in war but hide in their comfortable habitats while soldiers and civilians risk their lives to defend their countrymen and lives of their families. Innocent civilians face death and danger, where is the family of Putin now? Because they have money and resources of course, they had evaded to other country or bunkers perhaps for safety leaving the people dying.
