Russia launched another massive attack, damaging the Cabinet of Ministers building for the first time and killing civilians. In response to these attacks, Ukraine is stepping up its campaign of deep strikes, paralysing Russia’s oil infrastructure. As many as 60 targets were hit in August.
Meanwhile, Kyiv is pushing for a historic $100 billion deal with the US to secure advanced drone technology and future security guarantees.
In addition, Russia is jamming GPS in the Baltic region, flexing its muscles to neighbouring countries. Medvedev is threatening Finland. Poland continues to strengthen its defences amid military exercises by the Kremlin.
