As tension gripped Manipur after recent drone and rocket attacks, ‘Dronaam’ has been deployed. Recently, Koutruk villagers in Manipur’s Imphal were attacked with drones, bombs and sophisticated weapons reportedly by the Kuki militants. Manipur Police had said that forces will commission anti-drone system after recent drone, rocket attacks. These indigenous guns, that were also deployed in G20 Summit, won the IDEX competition in 2021. Dronaam is capable of building an iron wall around its assets to protect it from attack by enemy swarm drones
