Fire crews continued working in Los Angeles on Sunday as Pacific Palisades residents began returning — with police escorts — to see what was left of their homes and neighbourhood, which suffered extensive damage.
There’s hope calmer winds over the weekend will assist in the firefight but those gusts are expected to pickup again early this week.
A new investigative task force is probing the origins of the fires. Meanwhile, the FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect after a private drone collided with a Canadian firefighting aircraft on Thursday, grounding the plane.
Global’s Neetu Garcha reports.
