Israel Strikes Hamas in Qatar, Poland Shoots Down Russian Drones, and Cook Can Stay at Fed #shorts

In an unprecedented move on Tuesday, Israel targeted Hamas’ top leadership living in Doha, Qatar. Hamas claimed that senior officials survived the attack but offered no immediate proof of that assertion.

Poland said Wednesday that multiple Russian drones were shot down in their territory, describing the incursion as an “act of aggression.” Russia’s Defense Ministry said that its overnight strikes in Ukraine had no planned targets in Polish territory.

And a federal court has ruled that embattled Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook can remain in her position after President Donald Trump fired her in August. Tuesday’s injunction blocks her firing while her dispute makes its way through the courts.
