I’ve improved my automated automatic recourse gathering. The main improvement is drone plans, allowing drones to plan goals in an organized manner. The Drone planner system is a queue allowing multiple goals to be set and carried out in order. This way of managing allows for plans to make other plans which is useful for building higher-level instructions. All of this programming is done through LUA and will be open source when the game releases. Although before that day there are a number of features to add, like smelting so you can craft more drones, scaffolding to allow drones to navigate more easily, and movement speed based off block under drone to encourage road building. I also have to write all the code for the drones to do all of that stuff. Thank you for reading if anyone did!
