Powering on a DJI drone is a simple process. Follow these steps to turn it on:
1. Prepare the Drone:
Make sure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted into the drone.
Ensure the propellers are securely attached and the area around you is clear for takeoff.
2. Power on the Remote Controller:
Press the power button on the remote controller once and release.
Immediately press and hold the power button a second time for a few seconds until you hear a sound or see the lights indicating it’s on.
3. Power on the Drone:
On the drone’s battery (usually located on the back), press the power button once quickly.
Then press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the drone’s lights turn on and you hear a startup sound.
4. Launch the DJI App:
Open the DJI app on your mobile device or tablet (DJI Fly, DJI GO, etc.), and connect it to the controller if necessary.
The app will recognize the drone and display the status, indicating it’s ready for flight.
Once powered on, the drone will go through a self-check process, and you should see the status lights on the arms change color to indicate it’s ready. Always check your surroundings and settings before takeoff!
