On Nov. 8, Yemen’s Houthi rebels released footage claiming to show the downing of a US MQ-9 Reaper drone in al-Jawf’s al-Yutamah desert. The Houthi spokesperson confirmed the successful attack, stating their air defenses shot down the drone during a hostile mission. This marks the 12th such downing by Houthi forces in the ongoing conflict, which they call the Battle of the Promised Conquest.
