Seems like a small change, but it will have a significant impact IMO – on modes where people actually use observation tools. Drone survivability will be better, so attackers will have access to more info overall across the game, so they win rate will rise ever so slightly, and attackers are still at an enough of a disadvantage to justify the aforementioned win rate increase.
As for drone game modes- racing sounds fun, but I'd love a "rat hunt" mode where drones have to complete some objective on the map, like jump through some checkpoints, while defenders hunt them down. Drones could have unlimited or reduced cooldown on boost or increased hp.

drone racing or something and the event packs should be 5 different drone skins
Will probably help players with brainrot to actually engage with their drone during prep, even if it's just to boost around, instead of being on their phone.
