Drone footage captured on the morning of October 10 shows the extensive damage inflicted by Hurricane Milton on the city of Venice, Florida. The hurricane, which struck Florida’s west coast as a Category 3 storm with sustained winds of 120 mph (205 kph), spawned deadly tornadoes, destroyed homes, and left over 3 million customers without power. Although it was a dangerous storm, it was less severe than the Category 5 hurricane that had initially threatened the state.
