Driver Accidentally Drops Trailer While Driving!
Driver Accidentally Drops Trailer While Driving! Oh look, another 5th wheel fail job! This time, the likely culprit is driver error. Electronic release levers from inside the cab can be convenient, but not when you release the trailer while on the road. Luckily it happened just outside the facility and not on the freeway or major intersection.
I responded personally in HULK, my 50ton rotator. I knew right away the best course of action was to park next to it and use my spreader bar to lift and set it back onto the tractor. To help protect the sides, I used my synthetic soft shackles for a 100% damage free job. The weight was roughly over 20,000lbs which is light work for HULK.
The job all in all was pretty quick, with happy customers all around. What did you guys think of my work? And if you’re a fan and would like more, become a member! I post all my deleted videos here and other perks:
