Do you need data when using your phone or controller with the drone?
Would it not work if abroad or no signal.

its a toy, sent mine back, just cannot see a use case over a cinelog 20 or 25 which flys much better

What’s the uk fpv range with goggles and rc motion 3 ?

Would be interested in an image quality comparrison against the mini 4. Out of interest when using the onboard buttons for follow mode….when you have finished how do you get it to come back?

Odd they market this as a selfie social media drone but no vertical shooting capability for IG or TikTok

I must have watched 20+ videos now since this release. The “4K” video looks absolutely awful in everything I’ve watched! What’s going on? Hoping this is early firmware that can be updated to improve.

I hope they add the hand tracking and picture geasture on the neo like the spark and be able to support rc-n1😢

Oh, that looks well cool. So if you have tye Dji remote, does that in crease the distance it can fly over WiFi

The spark was my first ever drone, it was amazing back then.

Another point is that it seems not to have a lens cover for travelling? If it’s supposed to be so portable there is chance to damage or smudge the lens or for dust to enter when carried in a bag or pocket.. not sure if it has one? If not, a shame..

What about downloading footage, Bluetooth download to your phone?

This is the best looking review footage I've seen from Neo. So many other reviewers footage looks like a hot mess of upscaled, over-sharpened yuck. My question is, did you get a later model with different firmware than other reviewers or are you doing a ton of post processing???

Controversial view here! I fear that this drone will appeal to the selfie stick brigade and every crowded tourist area will have lots of Neos flying around annoying drone haters even more than at present. In certain locations they could even become a hazard and alarm some tourists. As a drone photographer I love my Mini4P and always make a point of flying from a discreet location. Yes, it appears to be a remarkable piece of equipment but it is priced to appeal to the masses who have never contemplated having a drone before.

this camera is a toy for children, the dynamic range of the matrix is like on phones from 2000, that’s exactly what it seemed to me, all the shooting was done here against the sun or in non-sunny weather, I saw this right away as a pro, maybe the drone is excellent, we need more tests and yes, it
doesn't cost more than 100 euros even with a full set, that's for sure.

How is the audio syncing? Hover X1 is bad.

Mine comes tomorrow, bought the standalone with a spare battery and the charger, my first drone and I hope to use it for travel and moto vlogging. If it is useful I’ll invest in a more powerful drone in the future.

Hi – what a good review! You mention the small sensor, my current drone is a Mini 2, not the 4 that you mention. Do you think aerial pictures from the NEO would be comparable to the M2, or would the Mini 2's 3-axis stabilisation make a noticeable difference? The size and convenience of the NEO appeal and I don't generally use RAW imaging.
