Overnight DJI released a firmware update for the DJI Mavic 3 v01.00.0600 to address the issues of slow GPS connection speed. This has been a problem with the Mavic 3 since it was launched, it was very slow to acquire a satellite lock and could take anywhere from 5 all the way up to 10 minutes for some to get a lock of 12 satellites so the drone could set a home point. This latest firmware update did indeed help the issues as in my test I was able to get a 12 satellite GPS lock quite a bit faster in under 2 minutes.
