H14-4 Defender Only No 6 Stars, 10 Ops
It is extremely difficult for 5 star defenders to kill Patriot alongside the 4 drones of phase 2, and there’s no way to kill Theresa’s phase 2 in under 1000s with this team. To get around this, I decided to not fight phase 2.
By killing Theresa’s phase 1 extremely early, we can shift the kill gate onto the second defender parked on Cuora, while we slowly defeat the other mobs before the cocoons swallow everything. Then we retreat to a ‘safehouse’ built of roadblocks in the center, with Cuora stalling the enemy and plenty of room to turn off Theresa’s DR and chip her down slowly. Theresa can only win if she cocoons enough tiles, but with the ugly roadblock house occupying half the tiles she can never win.
The main difficulty with this was figuring out how to kill the drones, which resulted in moving around the small minions with roadblocks to ensure the drones take enough damage from fortress spam.
I also tried to see how the patriot phase 2 route would go, but the task of moving the cocoons over takes way too many deploys of the fortresses, who have to do everything in this stage aside from handling the 4800 DEF 90 RES shields. In comparison killing Theresa phase 1 requires very little deploys. Maybe it’ll be more optimal when Philae comes out, since elemental damage is extremely good this chapter.
