Learn how to project a spline onto any surface in Cinema 4D:
1) Place your spline above the target surface area.
2) Add a MoSpline Object. In the Object tab, change its Mode to Spline. In the Spline tab, set the Generation Mode to Even and the Count to 200. Set the Width to 0.01 cm.
3) Drag and drop your spline into the Source Spline field. Select the MoSpline Object and press “C” to convert it into a spline and set its Type to Bezier.
4) Hide the original spline and keep the new one selected. In the Spline menu, choose Move and Project.
5) In Project attributes, ensure the Mode is set to View. Click Apply.
6) Add thickness to the projected spline using the Sweep Object to finalize and highlight the achieved result.
