Its going back – lots of software bugs, but more importantly really poor print quality (much worse than an old Mega S).
Even with the Kobra 2 Plus the phone app access to print from phone or USB drive doesn't work nor the send from slicer, person I talked to said that this is all still new and will be in the next update/patch.
Got one of these on the Black Friday Sale, first one ever, putting it together was like reading an IKEA instructions π one thing that should be really repeated over and over being a bed slinger you MUST have a robust stand/table for this, it will rock harder than ACDC when it gets full speed, had to put it on my kitchen counter for now, it rocks everything else to much. (I have the Kobra 2 Plus)
Hey Ken! Love you 3d printer videos, do you happen to have a beginner tutorial series on all this? Like how to create something to print, configuring the printer, knowing what material to use?
I can't set the best settings with CURA, do you have any presets to recommend? I don't even find the official anicubic one optimal, not even for 250mm/s

Been thinking about getting a 3d printer. They market the bambu A1 mini very well making it look like a beginnerβs dream. The build volume is just so small compared to the competition. This model seems great however seems a bit less user friendly. I like your 3d printing content. Iβve been watching closely trying to find the perfect one for my shop.
I haven't seen many reviews about this 3D printer. It's great that you went ahead and did a deep dive into it. I think that bef slingers still have a pretty awesome place in the 3D printing world. I print a lot of TPU and I agree it's been great for that. There are a couple of different pei plate alignment add-ons that you can get on printables to get the plate aligned easily. But yeah, overall it's just been such an easy 3D printing experience

Been looking at getting a anycubic fdm printer I like this one but the build plate is a little small I think Iβm going to go for the anycubic Kobra 2 plus instead which I think is a better choice
Which would you choose for general drone hobby printing? This printer or the Bambu A1 mini (without the AMS)?
