Houthi Drone from Yemen Hits Israeli Airport; Airspace Shut Down | India Today
A drone launched from Yemen by the Houthi militant group has struck the passenger terminal at Ramon Airport in southern Israel, according to a statement from the Israeli military. The attack led to the immediate closing of the airspace and the halting of all flights. The Israeli Defense Forces reported that six drones were launched, but only one landed, with the others being intercepted. This incident is not the first of its kind; in May, the Houthis fired a ballistic missile toward Tel Aviv’s main airport. The Israeli military is investigating the strike. According to a correspondent, two people were injured. The continued ability of the Houthis to target Israel is a cause for concern, with one speaker noting, “the Houthis are still able to target the different targets with the ballistic missiles, with the drones in Israel, which is concerning for Netanyahu as well as for IDF.” #israel #yemen #houthi #itwebvideos #droneattack #ramonairport #israelunderattack #middleeast #breakingnews #worldnews #indiatoday #netanyahu #idf #dronestrike #airspace #conflict
