Reviewing ALL Our Off-Grid Heating Systems | DIY In-Floor Heat, Blaze King & Coal

We start up and test our in floor heating system in the shop for the first time in late November. Over the course of 10 weeks, we evaluate how efficiently and effectively our new setup will heat our 2,400 sqft Quonset Hut. There were a few surprises and learning curves during the process. Ultimately, we opted to upgrade a pump for the system and feel comforted going forward in the future that this will be a reliable and realistic setup.

We cover our other heat sources – a DS Stoves Coal Furnace in the shop, a Blaze King Princess Wood Stove, and a small Toyotomi for the cabin.

We appreciate you tagging along for our Alaskan adventure 😀
